Movie connections

Katherine Parkinson was Marion Whittaker in Easy Virtue (2008) - an adaptation of a Noel Coward play. She was also in Doc Martin as Pauline Lamb (she currently stars in The IT Crowd). Her co-star was Martin Clunes as Dr. Ellingham. His manner with patients - supercilious, patronising, unsympathetic - is like Gregory House, as played by English-man Hugh Laurie. Mr Laurie portrayed a bumbling, buffoon of a country gent early in his career in Jeeves and Wooster.
