The origins of agriculture: a biological perspective and a new hypothesis
So this is something I had not heard of before. Wheat controlling populations tendency towards civility and thus civilisation; thanks to Penelope Trunk I learned something new this week. Apparently the soporific qualities in wheat keep people docile and addicted. Actually it might not be Penelope Trunk who mentioned this, but I'll thank her all the same!
